we introduce ourselves
EnergieReich Consulting was founded as an entrepreneurial community in 2018. The company is based in northern Germany in the immediate vicinity of the Elbe and 30 kilometers from Hamburg. Despite the pandemic, we opened our sourcing office in Hong Kong in 2020, where our company owner, Ms. Merz-Fischer, lived and worked for many years and still has her second home.
It is our aim to always be one step ahead of the latest trends and to bring new innovative products to the German market as early as possible.
Through direct sourcing in China and Southeast Asia, we are able to identify new developments for our customers at an early stage and to find reliable producers through our partners.
We are strong because we have strong partners by our side. Daily communication with China and Asia is part of our daily routine and we are constantly finding out what’s new and what new products are coming onto the market.
Our own office in Hong Kong supports our activities directly, from checking new suppliers, sending samples or processing orders.
All products that we import are subject to strict quality controls and tests for EU conformity.
Thanks to our many years of experience in logistics, we always find the best transport options and only work with reliable partners who we have known and valued for many years because they guarantee us fast and reliable delivery routes.

Dirk-Peter Fischer
Born in Herne in 1958, Mr. Fischer was trained as a retail salesman and on his second educational path he completed a qualification as software developer and programmer. He developed programs for retail and logistics companies. He was a branch manager and IT manager in retail for 20 years and worked as a manager in logistics for another 20 years.
In 2019, Dirk Fischer was invited by the Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) and the BMWI on a delegation trip to China. Due to his extensive experience, he immediately made many connections with Chinese entrepreneurs and developed successful business relationships with them. The cooperation style and the Chinese mentality have inspired him to continue on this path towards China and Asia and to build up his own trading network. His network in China and Asia has developed quickly and together with his wife Olivia Merz-Fischer, who speaks Chinese and Indonesian, EnergieReich Consulting has been able to record considerable success within a very short time since its foundation and has achieved seven-digit annual sales since 2020.
Dirk Fischer is interested in personal development in his free time. He has mastered the training to become an NLP Master Practitioner, Hypnosis Coach and Manager at LifeWave and has supported many people in their physical and mental challenges. His inner passion is to help people achieve their personal success and to create win-win situations.
Mr. Fischer is married and has one grown daughter from a previous marriage
Olivia Merz-Fischer
Olivia Merz-Fischer was born in Frankfurt in 1971. She studied Chinese, Indonesian, linguistics and economics and was in Nanjing, China, from 1995-96 to study the standard Chinese language.
Various internships followed at GIZ Baden-Würtemberg, Volkswagen Shanghai, OSCAR Consulting, Speedmark Taipei, British Airways and others.
After completing her studies as a qualified translator, she started her professional career in a small local logistics company in Hong Kong and was soon responsible for sales to Germany, Indonesia and Mexico. After 4 years she moved to an MNC, also based in Hong Kong, where she was responsible for air freight sales to Europe. In addition to her full-time job, she opened her own wine trade in Hong Kong and put her heart and soul into importing and marketing German wines. Together with the German Consul General, she got involved in the jointly founded wine society.
In order to be able to bring the extensive years of experience in China and Asia to Germany as well, Olivia Merz-Fischer founded a company with a focus on intercultural competence in the Chinese business and translation services. For this purpose, she completed additional training as an intercultural trainer. Bridge2Culture is still operating successfully on the market since 2012.
In her spare time, Ms. Merz-Fischer has been involved as Vice President of the Hamburg China Society since 2013, promoting understanding and exchange between Chinese and Germans. She has established numerous contacts with personalities in Hamburg’s economy and politics.
As a co-founder of EnergieReich Consulting, Ms. Merz-Fischer brings in her extensive network, as well as her linguistic and cultural know-how about China and Asia.
In her free time she is interested in meditations and personal development. She is also an NLP Master Practitioner. Further interests are real estate, wine from Germany, animal welfare and her two dogs.
